New CD: The Official Bootleg Series
From our first rehearsals the Sataraš Quartet knew that we were in it for the long haul. The plan was that we would put out high-quality studio albums, alternating with "Official Bootleg" CDs/downloads of some of our best live shows. Well, Official Bootleg Vol. 1 is out before the first studio LP, and we really like it - a hot show from a hot night at the Red Light Cafe in Atlanta last July. Two Balkan tunes, an original, and a moody Ornette Coleman piece - 50 minutes of live wonderfulness.
